CVRC Mini Symposium: Sex and Gender Differences in Cardiovascular Medicine

Our goal is to bring together researchers from different disciplines involved in research projects on sex and gender differences in cardiovascular medicine, and to provide an opportunity to present research results and ongoing projects, with the aim of future joint grant applications.

We will have three short keynote presentations, followed by short presentations by students involved in ongoing research projects related to the topic of the symposium. Thereafter, we will have interactive discussions about potential research projects related to the topic for joint collaborative grant applications.

- "Mechanisms underlying sex differences and sex hormone effects on ventricular arrhythmias" by Prof. Dr. med. Katja Odening, Department of Cardiology and Department of Physiology
- "Impact of sex and gender on heart-brain interactions" by Prof. Dr. med. Catherine Gebhard, Department of Cardiology

Participation in the meeting is free of charge, but for organisational reasons registration is required by October 5, 2023
